Design process of hygienic safety side guards for Haelvoet. I was allowed to design a user-friendly pull down mechanism and ergonomic safety side guards for day- and intensive-care hospital beds. Key challenges: simple and flawless mechanism, easy maintenance, ergonomic shape and of course the complex international safety standards while keeping it attractive.
